Blue Rim is operated out of San Jose, California. All of our products ship directly from the manufacturer to you so you get the best deal possible rather than having to pay a higher price to cover inventory costs. For this reason our items are not available for pickup, unless you happen to live near one of our manufacturer's warehouses throughout the country.

Shipping Policy
Blue Rim offers UPS Shipping for all products unless otherwise noted. The larger items are shipped via freight. Please call 408-454-6288 or Email us for shipping quotes. Unlike other companies, we do not try to make money from shipping so you will be charged the pass through rate that we are being charged. These rates apply only to orders shipped within the 48 contiguous US states. Most UPS orders ship the next day. We provide you with the UPS tracking number so that you can track the shipment of your product using the UPS Tracker.

We will contact you for any special shipping charges that will be incurred for orders to Alaska, Hawaii or other distant US territories (like the US Caribbean Islands). We can also ship to Europe, Canada, Mexico, South America, Bermuda, and the Bahamas, but you must Email or phone us 408-454-6288 first with your order and we will give you specific information about any additional shipping charges before we process your order.

Blue Rim ships directly from the manufacturer to you, cutting out the middlemen. This saves you money and enables us to offer the lowest overall prices on the Web. Blue Rim items are shipped from the distribution warehouses by UPS or freight for the larger items.

Return Policy - All Products Except Reiker
The best way to avoid returns is to be careful when ordering, so please call us for assistance in selecting the right products for your situation.

In order to return an item you must first contact us 408-454-6288 to authorize the return. All returns must be in their original packaging, so don't throw the packaging away if you think you might need to return the item. Your credit card will be refunded or a new product shipped in its place once we receive verification that the item has reached the return warehouse and is in the condition you described. Products returned for which shipping was originally included will require you to pay for round-trip shipping costs (shipping is only included if you keep the product).

For products that are suspected to be defective/damaged you are NOT responsible for return shipping costs or restocking fees (Except for Reiker PRoducts). Contact us and we'll help you work through the situation. In some cases the customer may not be aware of certain features, options or installation requirements and we and/or the manufacturer can provide assistance to resolve the problem. If we are not able to resolve the problem to your satisfaction, then you may return the item.

Functioning products may be returned within 30-days of delivery for any reason, but you will be responsible for round trip shipping costs, and any restocking fees that might apply. Please contact us to obtain the return warehouse shipping address and to authorize the return (so the warehouse can expect the product back). It is the customer's responsibility to return any items to the exact warehouse location specified by Blue Rim.

Return Policy - Reiker Products
Reiker fans can be returned for 30 days from the day of purchease if you no longer want the product and we will refund you the product cost minus the round trip shipping costs --which the customer is responsible for. If the fan is defective, however, you have only 10 days to notify us and request a return that will refund all your shipping costs for the purchase and return of the fan. The Reiker fans now have this separate 10 day-ONLY defective product return policy as per the Tropical Breeze Products Inc. --which as of September 2010 has taken over the Reiker brand. This is a new policy we are not responsible for and are only following the manufacturer's new defective products return policy. After the 10 day period, the manufacturer's waranty process needs to be followed ---which means they will repair or replace the fan but the customer is responsible for round trip shipping costs--even if the product is defective from the very beginning. For more information regarding this policy please call the Tropical Breeze Products Inc. Technical Support line at 1-800-283-7031--and they will explain everything.

For the rest of our products here are some additional tips to ensure you are satisfied with your order.

  • Please inspect your order when it is delivered
  • Please inspect the items you have ordered immediately upon delivery. Depending on the type of item ordered, you may be required to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt from UPS. Please note any damage on this receipt. If refusing a delivery due to damage please note on the receipt a few words about the specific damage that caused you to refuse the shipment.

  • What if my shipment arrives damaged?
  • In the very rare situation that you experience damage in your shipment, please be sure to note it on the delivery paperwork you sign and contact us as soon as possible. If the carton is obviously severely damaged, please refuse the shipment. We will arrange for a replacement or replacement parts to be rushed out. We will take the quickest route to remedy the situation. In the event a replacement is delivered to you before original shipment is returned, you are responsible for cooperating with the return of the item. Failure to return the damaged item leaves us with no choice but to charge your credit card for the non-returned item.

  • How do I cancel my order?
  • Please call us immediately if you need to cancel your order. If we are able to cancel your order before it is shipped, there is no charge for the cancellation and you will receive a full refund. If the product has been shipped, you will be responsible for round-trip (inbound and outbound) shipping charges. These charges will be deducted from your refund. Please contact us via phone or email and we will assess the situation and resolve it.

  • Defective product returns
  • Defective product returns are covered by the manufacturers' warranties and you will not be responsible for shipping charges or any other charges that are under warranty. Please contact us and we will assist you with any warranty issues.

  • Warranty/guarantee policy
  • All Products are covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. Please contact us for help with warranty issues for products you purchased through our company. We will assist you in getting these matters resolved.

  • 30 day money back satisfaction guarantee
  • If the product does not meet your satisfaction you have 30 days to return it. You are responsible for round-trip (inbound and outbound) shipping charges on the returned items.
